John Eversley

John Eversley, a Philosophy, Politics and Economics graduate from Oxford University, is an expert in the field of public policy and management. His experience spans the voluntary sector and Director level posts in the NHS and local government

As well as being managing director of ppre, John works with several universities:

John is  Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities at London Metropolitan University. There he leads a Masters in Organising  for Social and Community Development. It was initally aimed at refugee organisations. We now welcome international students and a wide variety of UK students.  There are a number of short courses associated with the course including Researching Communities, Leadership in Communities and Promoting Equality and Human Rights.  See http://www.londonmet.ac.uk/pgprospectus/courses/organisation-and-community-development.cfm

In 2012 John is also a locum Senior Lecturer in Public Health and Health Promotion at London South Bank University  and is teaching on the Outcast London History course at Queen Mary University of London.

John has carried out work on refugee health professionals over a number of years.Much of this work and related material is available through http://www.rose.nhs.uk/.

He has many years experience of grant-giving including for Charity Projects (Comic Relief) and the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
